Part 1; Thrive/when your world is shaken up
We are living in a rapidly changing world. As you can see there are all kinds of problems & Challenges that people are dealing with. However, regardless of what those challenges maybe God says, No matter what comes against you, no matter what they throw at you & no matter the amount setbacks you may have you are going to thrive. You see, God didn’t just want you to succeed in life, neither does he want you to just survive in life…he has better plan for you, he wants you to thrive in every area of your life. In Daniel 1:1-7 God allowed Daniel to thrive in the midst of his captivity.
At the age of 15-years old, Daniel watched the destruction of his nation, he was taken as a prisoner of war & spend the rest of his life living in a foreign, hostile culture.
They put Daniel through a three-year cultural indoctrination program, they changed his name from Daniel to Belteshazzar & they also tried to change his diet.
Yet even though his life is shaken to the foundations, Daniel, this 15-year-old kid grew into a great, great man of God.
The story of Daniel’s life is filled with adventure, political intrigue and all kinds of things, It’s an amazing story of how to survive, succeed and thrive when people around you don’t agree with what you believe.
So what should you do when your world is shaken up? When the foundations become real unstable and unsteady and you don’t know which way is up? What do you do & how do you respond?
