Text: Matthew 5:16. “Let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven.”
In other words, when people see the work you do.. their response will be to thank God for you & when they look at you they need to see a person of excellence. They need to say, “That guy is a person of excellence or that girl is a person of excellence & that’s what it means to let your light shine.
You see, excellence doesn’t only show others what we can do & how good we are at doing it but it also brings glory and honour to God as well. That’s the way God wants us to live. He wants people to see that your quality of work is a reflection of your faith & when your quality of work is good, you are letting your light shine.
And so, there are 5 remarkable qualities that an excellent person has & by the these are qualities that God wants you to build into your life, no matter what you do
- PEOPLE WHO EXCEL WORK WITH ENTHUSIASM. Colossians 3:23, Proverbs 18:9
- PEOPLE WHO EXCEL SHARPEN THEIR SKILLS. Proverbs 22:29; Proverbs 28:19
- PEOPLE WHO EXCEL KEEP THEIR WORD. Proverbs 20:6
- PEOPLE WHO EXCEL MAINTAIN A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. Philippians 2:14-15; Ecclesiastical 10:4
- PEOPLE WHO EXCEL DO MORE THAN IS EXPECTED.
