Text: 1 Thessalonians 4:1–2
Now, what will it takes for you to become the best you can be & what will it takes for you to live a life of excellence? It is going to take commitment, dedication & perseverance. U see, building & maintain a life of excellence just doesn’t happen out of the blue… it is a process & a life long dedication. A great number of people are living beneath their privilege not because they have to but simply because they choose to. U see, Living a life of excellence is a choice, i can choose to underperform in my role as a father, a pastor or husband or i can choose to excel in every area of my life. Why ? because excellence is a choice! U see, God has already given us everything we need to grow & live a life of excellence. 2 Peter 1:3 says this, For His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. In other words, we are called to live a life of excellence for God’s glory…
1). Excellence begins internally. Colossians 3:23; Proverbs 22:29
2). Excellence is a consistent Growth process. 2 corinthians 8:7
3). Excellence is attractive. Proverbs 22:29 & Philippians 4:8
