Daniel, was a classic example of what a good role model looks like. At the age of 15 he was taken into captivity by a foreign country. He was put through a rigorous cultural indoctrination program that tried to change his beliefs and everything that he stood for, yet through it all Daniel “Thrived” he remained faithful to God & faithful to self development & improvement.

You see, there are many people who have not learned from their history, past present and future…neither have they learned from those who have pioneered their freedom and built them a legacy. Unlike those people Daniel was wise because he was committed to learning. And so, how do you commit to a life of learning?

  1. Make a commitment to never stop learning. Proverbs 23:12, NLT

  2. Learn the lessons of the prior generation. Job 8:8-10; Titus 2:5-7 & Proverbs 22:6.

  1. Put into practice what you have already learned. Daniel 5:22 & Matthew 11:28-29
